The MVTF collection had humble beginnings. Jacques restored his first vehicle, an M3-A1 Scout Car in 1975. After this initial acquisition, the collection started growing and expanding. If a military vehicle appeared on the open market, Jacques knew about it first and would often step in and purchase it along with a plethora of rare accessories and equipment. He was able to obtain vehicles that originated from the USA, USSR, Germany, England, France, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, and Israel. Ultimately, the MVTF accumulated over 240 vehicles. The technical diversity of the MVTF collection is one of our many strong points. A visitor can examine almost all types of military vehicles in existence, spanning from the early advent of vehiclular armor, to modern-day high-tech prototypes.
The most important part of the collection resides in the four, nearly football field sized museum buildings. The remainder of the vehicles is currently stored for future restoration.
